If you can forgive a little parental pride here...and as a follow-up to my post about baking 555 chocolate chip cookies for my daughter's Student Council campaign...I'd like to tell you... SHE WON!
Out of 6 Executive Council members this year, she is the only girl. She's throwing her hat in the ring for Prime Minister next week. Whatever happens with the Prime Minister position, she's worked very hard and I'm pretty proud of her...and she'll have a great year in 2012-2013 one way or the other. Congratulations, Tara!!
It's never too early to start a brand! I see art skills run in the family.

Thanks, Patricia and StriderGirl. Yes, the graphic was her campaign poster. She did a cartoon last year too...it's becoming her "brand" I think. ;)

Congratulations to Tara! I'm sure she'll knock their socks off on council. Was that graphic her campaign poster? It's really cute!
And hey, you never know where Executive Council can take you - my former classmate Blair McCreadie, who was very active in student government, is now the past president of the PC Party of Ontario.
